Youth Leadership
Ready for the world ahead

Youth Leadership for the Environment, our newest initiative, exists to support a thriving Oregon by empowering youth to use their leadership skills in the environmental sector.
Our Youth Leadership program supports organizations that give high-school age youth:
- Exposure to schools, businesses, and organizations where they can see themselves in environmental work.
- Opportunities to build connections to blue and green career pathways, through educational credits, paid internships and stipends.
- Access to hands-on learning activities in the Oregon outdoors.
- A social network of like-minded peers to share their interests and experiences with.

We work with staff representing amazing youth serving organizations across the state to provide networking, learning, and hands-on training experiences as part of our Youth Leadership Network. We believe youth-serving staff are essential for the care and success of our next generation of leaders and that they deserve their own opportunities for growth, inspiration, and connection.
